Bright Innovators Academy- Robotics Information

Bright Innovator Academy offers a comprehensive robotics program designed by experts for students of all grade levels. The program begins at the innovator level, a three-month course focused on teaching students key robotics concepts and skills through project-based learning. Graduates of the Innovators levels after three months program progress to the Adventures program, a four-month course that further develops their robotics knowledge. The final stage of the program is the Masters level, a five-month course that prepares students to apply their learning in robotics competitions. First Lego League is an organization that conducts Robotics competitions in Texas. It offers First Lego League (Grades 2-8), First Robotics Competition (Grades 9 onwards), and First Tech Challenge Competitions. Details below.

Typically, the Robotics Competition season begins in August every year. The First Lego League allows students from grades 2-4 to be part of the FLL Explorer team for G 2-4, and G 4-8 students participate as part of FLL Challenge team. Kids from Grade 9 onwards prepare for FTC (First Tech Challenge competition)/FRC, so we form the team according to the competition and the standards set forth.

For the FLL Competition, we use block-based programming and Lego Spike Prime kit https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/lego-education-spike-prime-set-45678 AND https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/lego-education-spike-prime-expansion-set-45681  this is set standards from FLL body.

Bright Innovators already has a pool of robotics engineers who started their journey in January 2024, completed multiple levels, and are part of FLL -Challenger Team A competing this year in January 2025 and meets on Saturday' every week.

 New Members Interest..... 

 While we had closed new enrollment towards competition back in July 2024, We had received overwhelming request in past 2-3 months from new students to join our robotics program. Therefore, We picked up our second FLL Challenger Team (Team B) from G 4 -8 students with 70% spots taken who recently joined the Innovators program and will be practicing  for the next two to three months and will continue next year as well. While it may not be feasible for them to complete the 12-month program in just three months, we believe that providing Team B will give them best exposure to the FLL competition and will help them gain valuable experience and preparation in robotics over the next few months before competition in Jan 2025. Therefore, We have couple of  spots open to this team and will welcome new G4-8 students. Batch Timings - Wednesday 5:45 - 7:00 PM.
For Grades G 1 - 3 students, we have missed the team enrollment deadline for this year, but they can undoubtedly begin their Robotics learning now, with a focus on the competition after January. Batch Timings - TBD

One time Fee $ 200(center enrollment, kit maintenance fee, Competition fee)

4 Robotics classes/month -1.25 hour's each class and $150 /month.

So for the first month, $350, and the subsequent month, $150
